Eary signs of high blood sugar

High blood sugar has almost no noticeable early symptoms. By the time you have noticeable symptoms, you will have very high blood sugar that needs medication. That is why blood testing is so important. Fasting blood sugar. If you have symptoms like frequent urination, foamy urine and insatiable thirst you may already be diabetic—do not ignore them.
Some more subtle signs are skin tags, rosy skin, warts that won’t heal, slow wound healing, increased susceptibility to illness, slow recovery from illness, high blood pressure, difficulty sleeping and vivid anxiety dreams, increased irritability, lack of focus, poor circulation to extremities, difficulty controlling temper and depression.
None of these symptoms means you are definitely diabetic—they can all have other causes—but high blood sugar is often a factor, particularly when multiple symptoms are occurring at once. The solution is to get tested; it’s easy and inexpensive. The disease is also highly treatable and your comfort level will increase enormously if you get your blood sugar under control.
