Intel Arc B770: 16 GB GPU has not been scrapped just yet

A noted X leaker says Intel's Arc B770 is not dead and could be unveiled in the near future. The GPU is tipped to feature 16 GB of VRAM and use Intel's G31 GPU.
Last year, YouTuber Moore's Law is Dead said Intel's high-end GPU, the Arc B770, was pushed back indefinitely due to issues with its die. Another one went as far as saying it has been mothballed altogether. While some unannounced Intel GPUs have sporadically shown up online, nothing has materialized into an actual product. But, if a recent leak from X is accurate, Intel might have something for us soon.
OneRaichu, a reliable leaker, says the Arc B770 is still on the cards. Three new Battlemage GPUs were added to the PCIe database, and this could very well be one of them. The other two will likely be workstation-grade cards, one of which is tipped to arrive with 24 GB of VRAM. These could be unveiled at Computex 2025 (May 20-23), right around when AMD plans to show off the RX 9060 XT.
To recall, the Arc B770 was said to feature an Intel G31 GPU with up to 32 Xe cores, and 16 GB of GDDR6 VRAM on a 256-bit bus. With these specs, it should compete with a GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super, and maybe even the RTX 4080 in some instances.
If priced right, the Arc B770 could give Intel much needed market share, and now is as good time as any to launch it because Nvidia and AMD GPUs are seldom available at MSRP. Of course, stock will be the greatest challenge because even four months after launch, the Arc B580 is still a rarity.
